The cruise portion of our 13-day journey was a three day cruise on Holland America's Volendam, and it was a distant memory by the time we got to the latter part! We had had so many experiences, that the cruise seemed long, long ago.

After we arrived in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, we decided to go sightseeing. The Skytrain seemed like an inexpensive and effective way to see the city quickly, but were we surprised to find that most of the journey was underground! Not at all what we expected from a "Sky"train! At the last stop we exited the train and found ourselves in Gastown, a historical area with a very interesting landmark, the steam-powered Gastown Steam Clock.
This is the beginning of our journey. I will write more about it in the next few entries.

You may wonder what happened to my entry about our Alaskan trip. I used to enjoy making posts about our travels, and including photos from Flickr. Since Blogger has made everyone use Google Chrome, it isn't easy to do. I used to keep two tabs open, and go back and forth from Blogger to Flickr, but I use Chrome only for Blogger and my bookmarks and settings aren't on it.
.Also, I still can't make paragraphs stick, even though I make them in my drafts. It's very frustrating. I may look for another vehicle for my blog, or quit altogether. It's too bad. :-( *************************
I don't know why I didn't think of it before, I guess Mozette's helpful suggestions started my brain waves moving. I opened a new tab on the Chrome browser and found Flickr! So now I can do like I did before. :-)
