We'll probably move this year - Update 1/26/13
We moved to our present location ten years ago after my husband retired, in order to be closer to my mother, who was then 89. She doesn't need us anymore; she's in heaven now. We would like to be closer to our children and grandchildren, and we think we could be of some help to them.
We've been house-hunting, and it's a long and sometimes frustrating project. But we think we've found the house we like there, and will make a formal offer next week subject to a house inspection. I hope this works out; we've been spending a lot of time on the highway traveling to see them!

Thank you Martin and Mozette. We made the offer, and are waiting for the four heirs of the property to reply.
Meanwhile, our son had an interview -- somewhere else! It's less than an hour from his present home, but still! An exciting time of waiting and uncertainty ...
